Butch and Ruth began attending Messiah in 2003 and knew from the very first day that<br>it was a very special place; a place where they would grow closer to the Lord. Butch<br>grew up in Portland, Maine and Ruth grew up in Westford, MA. Both started their<br>careers in law enforcement in Wells and their paths crossed again years later. Butch<br>and Ruth were married; Butch giving her two wonderful children and eight adorable<br>grandchildren.<br>They grew deeper and stronger in their commitment for Jesus. Butch and Ruth<br>developed close relationships with others in church, growing through discipleship,<br>feeling loved and accepted.<br>Butch and Ruth enjoy family and friends, playing games. Butch enjoys volunteering as<br>an SRO (Safety Range Officer) for the State of Maine at the Fryeburg Firing Range,<br>hunting and the outdoors. Ruth enjoys baking, crafting and just about anything to help<br>at the church. If there is an event at the church, most likely, you will see them there.
