Florence and Tamar

Florence grew up in Jamaica and came to America to join her son. In Jamaica, she was a nanny for many families. Florence makes sure that her granddaughter is in church every Sunday. “Jesus is my Savior Creator and He actually cares for me. I have seen many hard times and I have learned to call upon Him when trouble comes.” So many times, Florence has seen Him turn the situation around and what was meant for bad, He turned to good. “Messiah means a lot to me. We have deep friendship with each other and there is so much love. My granddaughter loves Messiah; she woke me up this morning and said, ‘Nana, get ready; we have to go to church!’”
