Donna Wirling

I grew up in Massachusetts and came to Maine when my husband and I retired here. I have three great kids and ten wonderful grandchildren. I began attending Messiah in 2004 and Jesus has changed my life. When I came to Messiah, I heard the Pastor say that Jesus loved me unconditionally. I had never heard that before and I had never really experienced real unconditional love. Soon I began playing basketball in Messiah’s Recreation Center and attending other functions and I not only heard about unconditional love, I started to feel unconditional love and acceptance from the people there. I am grateful for all help I have received from Messiah. People are willing to share their knowledge, their resources and their talents with each other. It’s how a healthy church family should function. Messiah has helped me in every part of my life and Jesus has led me all the way.
