Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE The Bible to be the inspired, infallible authoritative Word of God.

WE Worship One God, Creator of all things, Who is existent in three Persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE AFFIRM The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He was born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles then and now. He died on the cross, shed His blood to atone for our sin, and provides for the healing of the body. He was resurrected bodily from the grave, ascended to the right hand of our Heavenly Father, and will return in person and power and glory.

WE EXPERIENCE The present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who dwells in, guides, instructs, and empowers the believers for godly living and service.

WE BELIEVE that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for forgiveness of sins and salvation, which is the free gift of God’s grace. Salvation is affected by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and cannot be secured by man’s works or personal merit. Salvation is only appropriated by a person placing his faith in the finished work of Christ. Repentance is a turning toward God and away from sin and is a part of but not separate from believing faith. "The Gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” and those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again, have their sins forgiven, become children of God, are a new creation in Christ, and "are sealed by the Holy spirit unto the day of redemption” being kept by the power of God

WE FELLOWSHIP With all who have found a new life in Christ, and recognize that they are united in the one Body of Christ as a member of the NewTestament Church of the Living God.

WE EXPRESS Spiritual truths through the use of physical symbols: Communion - the Lord's Supper speaks of our sacred union with God through Christ, and Baptism - water baptism by immersion testifies to a heart cleansing by God's grace and public witness of that inner work.

WE ACCEPT And look forward to the coming of the Lord, which is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church.
