Youth Ministry:       Victoria Boulger

Victoria was born in Michigan, raised in Texas, and moved to New England 18 yrs. ago. She met her husband, Dan, in Massachusetts, and they moved to Maine in 2006. They have a beautiful daughter named Elizabeth.  Victoria is a special education teachers at Wells Junior High. Victoria has three degrees: an associates in sociology, a bachelors and masters in education.  She became a Christian as a teenager, but turned her back on God as a young adult.  After almost hitting rock bottom trying to control her own life and having it all fall apart, the Lord saved her and turned her life around!  The God of all creation loves even Victoria!  She was re-baptized on Oct. 14, 2012, along with her husband and the many teenagers of the youth group she leads.  Victoria has been the youth leader at Messiah since 2011 and she feels that God has called her to do this ministry.  Teenagers have so many challenges to face, yet they can have a passion for God that can have a powerful impact on others. Victoria is a living testimony to the fact that God can use those tough times in life to help us lead others.  A scripture that has continually led Victoria is a very common one, yet they are words that have so much power in all circumstances:  Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord and shun evil.
